How long have you been in
the industry per-say
“Wow, in the industry since about 13 years old,
and I’m in my late 20′s right now, know what I’m sayin?”

What was your first
single that kinda hit the streets that gave you your biggest
buzz?
“Like 13 or 14, me and J-man the City Boy’z we had a song like
“Get’em up, Get’em up” then we had the “Bounce Shawty, Bounce” that was on the
So So Def compilation, u know what I’m saying, and I was young then, like I said
I brought the first gold plaque back to Bowen Home, Bankhead, at a young age so
that’s was the big buzz that got people to notice me that shawty rap for real,
nah mean?”

In addition to yourself of course, whos grind do you
respect most in the industry?
“I respect Shawty Lo grind, I respect
Rick Ross grind, I respect TI grind, I respect you know
50 grind, I respect everybody grind, J, Dre, Wayne, Weezie, definitely Weezie, Free my boy. u
know what I mean, I respect all they grind, nah mean?”

Do you feel the “fake rappers” are making it hard or
easier to break into the industry days?
“They really making it
hard,cause like I said  I come from back when the shit was booty shakin music,
as they called it, bass music, but that was real music, know what im saying but
now it so….I don’t know baby, you listen to the radio like I listen to the
radio, but I aint hatin on nobody, its FrontStreet ya you know”

Since you started in the rap industry what has been be
your most memorable experience thus far, that u say?
“The D4L
situation, “Girls Shake ya Laffy Taffy” when I came outta jail like 2005, sept 20
2005 i came outta jail, October 1 i was on the road, I was flyin in the air. I
was on the album, “Girls Shake ya Laffy Taffy”, D4L shit I was on “bet ya cant
do i like me” Bankhead, that was the 2nd single, i gotta plaque off that too.
That was like the biggest memory man from me coming home from prison and going
straight on the road, on the plane and shit, i never flew on a plane till then.
Tour bus and shit, whole big ol shit, that was a good memory from
me.”

When can we expect for a new album
to drop? Who hot gonna be featured on it. Tell me a little bit about your
album?
“My album FrontStreet, I got the mix tape on the way. Grind
Season, then I got the album on the way. The D4L album, you know D4L back together now, Fabo,
everybody so we bout to drop that album too. I’m definitely a big, big apart of
that then what I was the first time. I got that comin out, the FrontStreet
mixtape, I got my own entertainment company, the FrontStreet Entertainment, I
got lil artist and everything know what I’m saying?”

What are your musical goals for the rest of 2010? What
are you plans for this year?
“My plans for this year is to get the
world to feel me. They definitely gonna feel me and get them to see my business
side too. FrontStreet Entertainment, like i said I gotta artist coming up too.
I’m definitely gonna show them what the deal is, as far as the boy FrontStreet
then everything come behind me. Bankhead, Bowen Home that what it is, nah
mean?”

What would you tell somebody who
wanted to enter the industry? What advice would you give for somebody trying to
get in the industry and make a name for themselves, like you’ve done for
yourself?
“Gotta stay consistent, gotta stay consistent. Stay focused,
definitely gotta stay focused. Gotta stay humble in certain situations, gotta
have that drive and ambition to go out there and make that shit happen and if
you got all that in you bruh, and willing to stay down, cause ain’t too many
niggas willin to stay down, if you willin to stay down, then you gonna see
something, u know what i mean trust me cause I’m still in the grind so lets get
it. That’s what it is”
