Did Tameka Raymond copy and paste “Pretty For A Dark Skinned Girl” post?

byetweeps2

The web is going hard on Usher Raymond’s ex-wife Tameka Raymond. When I say hard, I mean hard. Her hata’s have pointed out that her recent photos were photoshopped and that her previous pictures should have been. The go as far as notating her age and all the names she has incurred from her many marriages. If you didn’t see this photos, than you need to catch up. Street Therapy was introduced to Mrs. Raymond unfortunately via the past photos in which she really looked like a man. Her belly was covered in stretch marks. Babies or no babies there is no way I would have taken pictures with a halter top and my stomach showing.

Tameka wrote a blog about how she feels about being an African American woman in America. Aisha Curry says different. She says her heart dropped when she read the original blog that Tamka says she wrote. It was verbatim from her book, Yes, it is hard but I beg to differ. It is not your complexion, but how you carry your self, dress and your attitude. Bloggers are entitled to their opinions but if everyone is talking and writing about the same thing then maybe it is you. I have read from many that her attitude is not the best; however, until I meet her I cannot go on this.

Mrs. Raymond recent tirade was taking out on blogger ATLien at Straight from the A’, who come off as a cool and genuine person. Her thoughts about the situation is below:

Tameka Foster Glover Raymond’s “Pretty For A Black Girl” Blog Post caught mad flack the moment it was spotted. Sad thing is, in what appeared to be a sincere effort on TFGR’s part to garner sympathy during this trying time, may have actually been nothing more than a good cut & paste job.

Friend in my head, Freshalina, sent over Jawn Murray’s revelation that Tameka has been accused of stealing her idea from a published book entitled…”Pretty For A Black Girl.”

The book’s author, Aisha Curry, hit up Black Voices to shed some light on how she feels her work may have been ganked and used by TFGR without consent:

My heart sank into my stomach. All the hard work, all the sleepless nights I had endured was playing back in my head as I read this article written by a woman I didn’t even know,” Curry told BV Buzz.

“Why did I feel so connected to this article? Suddenly, it came to me. It was my work! It was my work, my voice, but in her words. I was frozen. Tears began rolling down my face as I read line after line after line. I couldn’t believe it. The idea that someone could gain notoriety from an issue that I first brought to the forefront is mindboggling. People were praising her for tackling an issue that had never been exposed. Hello?!? I wrote the book on it and started it years ago. The only difference between her article and my book is she used ‘dark-skinned’ and I used ‘Black.’”

In the infamous words of Miss. Fresh…. “Margeaux stay losing…”  Click Here to read the full revelation over at BV.
